The vision behind The Palmetto Estate comes from owner Brent Okuley. After spending over 20 years traveling the world as a Tour Manager and Audio Engineer for some of the greatest names in music, Brent shifted gears to be more present for his young son and embrace new creative outlets. When he first discovered the estate, it was a diamond in the rough, but he immediately saw its potential and began pouring his heart and soul into restoring it. Not only does Brent manage The Palmetto Estate as a wedding and special event venue, but it’s also his full-time residence, making his connection to the property deeply personal. This dual role as both steward and resident ensures that every event held here is approached with care, creativity, and the highest attention to detail. Brent’s background in music, photography, and design has helped shape The Palmetto Estate into more than just a venue—it’s a living expression of his artistic journey.
